Abstract

Public Policy of the Palembang Mayor Government for Child Friendly City Development at the Palembang City Child Protection Women's Empowerment Service. Based on observations regarding the Palembang Mayor's Government Number 33 of 2019 concerning Guidelines for Regional Action Plans for Child Friendly City Development at the Palembang City Child Protection Women's Empowerment Service. Lack of information easily results in an inaccurate picture of both policy objects and implementers, due to a lack of employees looking for information about how to implement good policies. This research aims to analyze and identify the factors inhibiting the implementation of the Palembang Mayor's Government Number 33 of 2019 concerning Guidelines for Regional Action Plans for the Development of Child-Friendly Cities in the Palembang City Child Protection Women's Empowerment Service.The research method that the author uses is a qualitative method, which means that research aims to provide a more detailed and clear picture and object. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation for this research using the theory of George C. Edward III. The results of this research are the implementation of the Palembang Mayor's Government Number 33 of 2019 concerning Guidelines for Preparing Regional Action Plans for the Development of Child-Friendly Cities at the Palembang City Child Protection Women's Empowerment Service. That it has been going well. In terms of communication, resources, disposition and also the bureaucratic structure, it has been carried out in accordance with Standard Operational Procedures (SOP). which has been proven by the existence of openness of information, procedures that comply with the provisions of the City of Palembang to become a Child Friendly City.
